Yesturday, the California State Assembly debated the Senate Republican Budget proposal which balances the state budget without raising taxes. And as expected, Republicans are accussed of every evil under the sun from hating puppies to causing global warming to bringing about amagedon.

What I love is that the Dems whine all day about how Republicans are hurting vulnerable people like the elderly and disabled, yet when the Republicans offer up emergency funding the Dems turn it down because they know they wouldnt be able to blame Republicans anymore. This underlines how much Dems really care about these people.
Nobody EVER complains about how taxes are going to hurt families struggling to keep their businesses afloat or how a sales tax is going to hurt people already struggling to afford gas and food.
